Here is the latest news from Radio Blackmoor! This week’s show is packed full of music, interviews, adverts and much, much more!
Don't forget to give Miss Kilgallon your CD if you have a request! Any news or interviews need to be done by your Class Councillor, please speak to them for more information.
A big thank you to all the School Councillors who have worked incredibly hard to produce the show, as well as the teachers and pupils who have been interviewed or created their own features.

Make sure you listen carefully in school meeting on Thursday. We will be giving you the details of the new School Council Radio Station, A brilliant design competition and a charity event to help child refugees.

The School Council & Miss Kilgallon

The new School Council met for the first time with Miss Kilgallon on 12.11.15. They all had lots of great ideas for the upcoming months.

If you have a suggestions please pass them on to your class councillor. 

 

Nepal earthquake fund!

 

 The school council, 5C and Mrs Coffey would like to thank everybody for their generous donations going towards Nepal earthquake fund.

 

We have successfully raised £196.56 anymore donations to round us up to £200 will be amazing!

Today we donated all proceeds from toast sales to the Walton Neurological Centre's Jim Jam appeal. They are using donations to provide a Home from Home for families of patients receiving care. 

Thank you to everyone who had toast, we raised £22 ☺

Well done to all children in the School Council who visited the local food bank after our Harvest Festival Assembly.They had a very informative visit and found out lots of things about how the food bank works and how important it is for the community.

smiley Thanks to Andy who showed the children around and for leading the school assembly before the councillors went to visit. We must also thank Saint Paul's Junior School for lending us their mini bus for the visit.
