Welcome to the 5R class page!
Here you'll find links to some of the things that we do in school.
Things to remember:
- Our PE day is Thursday so remember to come into school in your PE kit. You don't have to bring your school uniform in. If it's cold, you should wear your school jumper and plain dark tracksuit bottoms or leggings (without any large brand names, logos or badges) over your PE kit.
- Your Reading Records and reading books must be in school every day. All children are expected to read at least three times per week and at least 10 pages per reading session (i.e. children should aim to read at least 30 pages per week). Children are rewarded for reading more than 50 pages! If you've ever wondered why reading is so important, click here to find out!
- Homework usually goes home each Friday and is due in the following Friday (unless you are told otherwise).
- Our class Maths Diary will be taken home by a different child in our class each week. Please fill a whole page with examples of how you have used Maths outside of school during the week. You can include writing, calculations, pictures and diagrams. Please do not include completing Maths homework as an example. We're looking for ways in which you have used Maths in real-life situations (e.g. using money or measuring weights of ingredients when cooking).
Thank you!
