18th October

Well done to the team who went to Anfield Sports Centre today to play in the Premier League Schools Tournament. Although we didn't get through to the next round, we played well and got to have our picture taken with the real Premier League trophy!

Here we are at the Goodison Park Grand Finals!!! Huge congratulations to both the Year 5 and Year 6 teams who all wore the BPJS shirt with pride and gave their very best on the pitch. Both teams won their semi-finals on penalties and both teams drew their finals 0-0 and had to go to penalties again! The Year 5 team won and the Year 6 team were narrowly beaten. We are all so proud of the 22 children from our school who played. They will always be able to say, "I played on a Premier League pitch!" How many of us can say that?!

A huge thank you to all the families who attended and the Year 6 children who really made it a fantastic atmosphere!

Congratulations to the Year 5/6 football team who won the North Cup on Monday 15th May at a very wet Camp Hill! They beat Rice Lane 4-1, showing great character to come back from a goal down. Blackmoor Park Junior School has now won all 3 trophies available to Liverpool Primary Schools in the last 3 years. We won the City Championships in 2015; the league in 2016; and now the Cup in 2017!

Congratulations to the boys who went to Finch Farm on Wednesday 26th April. They came second and will now play in the finals on the pitch at Goodison Park!!!
